Sora began with the belief that AI can have an incredible impact on the businesses the tech sector has always overlooked.
I've spent nearly a decade building, advising, and investing in AI—well before ChatGPT was a household name. I started my career as one of Deloitte's first AI consultants in Toronto, guiding Fortune 500s and governments through large-scale transformations, and most recently served as Chief of Staff of a $100M venture capital fund in San Francisco.
Those years gave me a front-row seat to a widening gap. AI is the most important technology of our generation, yet its benefits are primarily flowing to the same companies building it, or the enterprises that can afford seven-figure consulting budgets.
Meanwhile, the businesses that keep our communities running (healthcare clinics, pharmacies, accounting firms, law practices, and many more) are filled with hard-working teams, real ambitions for growth, and everything they need to put AI to work. Rightfully, they deserve the opportunity to do so.
That is the work Sora exists to do. We partner with growing business owners to find where AI can create outsized impact, build systems around how their teams already work, and train them to use AI with confidence.
